 Procedure

Procedure for filling of complaints before the CGRF

‣ The Consumers are advised to approach the appropriate Offices of the Licensee TPDDL for redressing their grievances initially.

‣ If the complaint is not resolved in time to the satisfaction of the applicant, they may approach the CGRF, either on refusal from TPDDL or after lapse of 15 days from date of application, whichever is earlier.

‣ A complaint to the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF) has to be submitted in prescribed form filled up in all respect.

‣ The grievance is to be submitted either in person or through registered post /speed post /courier service/email/fax or online.

‣ All the relevant documents are to be annexed or uploaded with the form. The complainant is not required to pay any fee and may present his case in person or through authorized representative

‣ On receipt of the compliant the same shall be forwarded to the licensee for reply which shall be filed by licensee within fifteen (15) working days from date of intimation from CGRF.

‣ Date of hearing of the grievance shall be notified to the parties by the Forum. The Forum can pass such interim orders, pending final disposal of the case, as may appear to it to be necessary and just in the interest of justice.

‣ On completion of the proceedings, the Forum shall pass appropriate order. The Forum shall provide certified copy of final orders to the parties free of cost.
