- PCMM is a Business Excellence Model recognised as a gold standard in people practices worldwide


Tata Power Delhi Distribution, a pioneering power utility supplying electricity to a populace of over 7 million in North Delhi, India’s National Capital has been successfully appraised at the Level 4 of People Capability Maturity Model (PCMM), conducted by an external High Maturity Lead Appraiser from KPMG. The appraisal is a validation of Tata Power-DDL’s long-standing commitment towards business excellence journey. Tata Power-DDL is continually engaged in improving its workforce policies, practices and capabilities in alignment with its business performance and objectives. 

PCMM (People Capability Maturity Model) is a Globally recognized Excellence Framework from CMMI Institute that focuses on continuously improving the management and development of the human assets of an organization. An appraisal at Level 4 indicates that the organization is performing at “Predictable” Level, i.e., competency development through mentoring, competency based assets, empowered workgroups, competency integration; motivation and management of performance through quantitative performance management and shaping of the workforce through organizational capability management.
