Speaking on the safety preparedness, a spokesperson at Tata Power-DDL said: “We have undertaken extensive preventive and proactive measures to mitigate risks arising during the monsoon. Our field teams are on high alert, and all necessary resources have been mobilized to ensure uninterrupted services and safety of the public as well as our workforce. We urge all our customers to remain cautious and follow safety guidelines. Together, we can ensure a risk-free and secure monsoon season.”
In addition to this, monsoon-related issues like waterlogging, strong winds, and lightning pose serious risks to power infrastructure.
