
Tata Power through its Tata Power Skill Development Institute (TPSDI), along with Centre for Power Efficiency and Renewable Energy (CENPEID) is set to broaden its scope with inaugurating the Green Energy Skill Centre at Rohini, New Delhi. Focused on serving as a centre of excellence, this centre developed with Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL) will enable a future-ready energy workforce with a holistic offerings of green, digital and safety skills at the capital city.

With a significant progress towards bridging the gap between academia and industry, the TPSDI has curated courses blending the standards of National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) and NCVET-approved Qualification Packs (QPs). By aligning its training offerings with national priorities like the PM Surya Ghar initiative under MNRE’s skilling framework, TPSDI showcases dual-excellence, supporting India’s mission of sustainable development along with positioning itself as an institute of excellence, being the first choice for training and skill development.
Tata Power, through TPSDI, continues to play a pivotal role in shaping a future-ready, green energy workforce aligned with India’s clean energy goals. With over 3.4 lakh individuals trained as of FY25, TPSDI remains committed to advancing skills in solar, storage, and electrical safety.
