Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Tata Power-DDL), a leading power utility supplying electricity to a populace of 9 million in North Delhi, will participate in a National Lok Adalat for on-spot settlement of electricity theft and disconnected connections cases. The National Lok Adalat will be held in association with Delhi State Legal Service Authority (DSLSA) on Saturday, 10th January, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at PLA-1, Sub-station Building 2/13, Sector -13, Rohini, Delhi – 110085, near Vekateshwar Global School.
Consumers who wish to resolve their cases through the National Lok Adalat may attend the proceedings at PLA‑1 on Saturday, 10th January 2026, between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. All litigants must bring a copy of valid government‑issued photo ID along with either a theft bill or a bill related to a disconnected connection.
The National Lok Adalat provide an opportunity for consumers seeking amicable on-the-spot settlement of cases pertaining to power theft and disconnected connections. If consumers decide not to take advantage of this opportunity, Tata Power‑DDL will be obliged to initiate criminal or civil proceedings against defaulters in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003 and the DERC Regulations. Further, consumers can pay their bills through various modes, such as Demand Draft (DD), Cheque, Credit Card, Debit Card, and various other online facilities, or Cash.
